Supetar is a town and a port situated on the northers side of the island of Brac. It connects the island of Brac with the mainland – by ferry. The ferry goes to Split several times per day. There are around 2,570 inhabitants , and they are mostly growing olives and vineyards, and also living of tourism. Supetar got its name by the bay of St Petar (St Peter). The St peter's church burnt down in 1729, and it was restaured in 1773 in Baroque style.  The settlement was mentioned for the first time in 1423. Supetar offers you quality tourist service in one of the hotels,apartmants, villas or rooms. Gastro offer is on the very high level, so you can try some of the local specialties or quality local wines. Many sport fields are on disposal for all interested in recreation, and you can also practice sports on water. Entertainment can be found in one of the restaurants, cafes, summer terraces. We recommend you to visit other places on this magnificent island – Sumartin, Splitska,  Selca, Postira, Povlja, Pucisca, Milna, Bol, Mirca, Murvica, Sutivan and Nerezisca.
