Bol is located on the southern part of the island of
Brac, and it has around 1,500 inhabitants. This is the oldest settlement on the
island of Brac with a long tradition of tourism. The most beautiful and the
most famous beach in the Adriatic – The Golden Cape (Zlatni Rat) is here. The
beach is a narrow white shoal which pointy end is shaped by the sea and it
moves couple of meters to the east or to the west. The clarity and the cleannes
of the sea in Bol doesn't leave anyone aloof. The rich history of this place
left many cultural and historical monuments – let us mention just some of them
– the church of the Lady of Karmel, that was built from 1668 to 1778. The
Dominican Monastery and the church are the most valuable monuments of the
island of Brac. This beautiful place offers various wayws of accomodation:
hotels, villas, private apartments and rooms. The fun and the night life for
the younger visitors can be found in many cafes and the disco club. The beauty
of the nature, the beauty of the sea and beautiful beaches offer something for
everyone. We recommend you to visit other places on this magnificent island – Supetar,
Sumartin, Splitska , Selca, Povlja, Postira,
Pucisca, Milna, Mirca, Murvica, Sutivan and Nerezisca.
